Files

Open the .dmg and drag SayKnow Kit to Applications.
If macOS blocks the first launch, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose “Open Anyway”.

Or clear the quarantine flag in Terminal:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/SayKnow Kit.app"

Run the setup .exe (recommended) or the .msi.
If SmartScreen blocks it, check the file first, then choose “More info → Run anyway”.

The macOS app is ad-hoc signed, without an Apple Developer ID or notarization, so macOS warns on first launch.
The Windows installers are not code-signed, so SmartScreen warns.
In-app updates only install files signed with the app's own update key.

Compare the file's SHA-256 with SHA256SUMS.txt.

The app checks for a new version once a day and shows a dot on the settings gear. Install verifies the signature, installs in place and restarts.

macOS: right-click the menu bar icon to quit, then delete SayKnow Kit from Applications.
Windows: Settings → Apps → Installed apps → SayKnow Kit → Uninstall.
